Cancelling during the holding window

Every donation is held for 14 days before it can be withdrawn, and donations flagged by our risk engine are only released after a human review. While a donation is held you can ask to cancel it and get your money back.

To request it, contact support with the donation code — it is in the payment page link (/doar/…) and on your receipt. The reversal is posted to our ledger and the amount leaves the campaign's total.

Verified beneficiary badge

Campaigns carrying the ✓ badge had the beneficiary's identity confirmed against an official document reviewed by our team. The badge appears on the campaign page, next to the title.

Full refund for fraud, for one year

If a fundraiser you gave to turns out to be fraudulent, we refund your donation in full — for up to one year from the day you gave, and whether or not the holding window has closed and the money has already reached the beneficiary.

Contact support with the donation code from your receipt. We investigate, and if the fundraiser is found to be fraudulent you get every cent back. Recovering the money from the beneficiary is our problem, not yours.

What else protects your donation

Human review of every campaign before it goes live; a risk engine that holds suspicious donations; withdrawals frozen immediately when a report against a campaign is upheld; and a permanent audit trail of every administrative action.
